소방청, ‘2025 국민안전 발명챌린지’ 대상 수상,

소방청(청장 직무대행 김승룡)은 12월 8일(월) 오전 10시 국회 의원회관에서 ‘2025 국민안전 발명챌린지 시상식’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 시상식은 국회 김원이·강승규·이재관 의원실, 지식재산처, 소방청, 관세청, 경찰청, 해양경찰청이 공동 주최하며, 각 부처 소속 공무원들이 현장 경험을 바탕으로 국민의 안전을 강화할 아이디어를 제시하는 직무발명 경진대회로 진행되었다.
8회째를 맞이한 이번 대회에는 총 779건이 접수되었으며, 아이디어의 독창성, 현장 활용 가능성, 사업화 가능성 등을 종합적으로 심사하여 24건의 우수 아이디어가 최종 수상작으로 선정되었다. 이들 수상작은 지식재산 전문가들과 협업해 고도화 작업을 거쳤으며, 특허 출원까지 진행 중이다.
대상(국회의장상)은 황명 소방장(충남 부여소방서)이 제안한 ‘도로 중앙분리대 횡단용 이동식 거치대’로 선정되었다. 이 발명품은 교통사고 발생 시 교통 정체로 인해 구급차와 소방차 등의 현장 접근이 지연되는 문제를 해결하고자 고안되었으며, 반대 차선의 정상 흐름을 활용해 사고 현장에 신속하게 도달하고 골든타임을 확보할 수 있다.
이 외에도 각 부처별 최우수작들이 수상했다. 관세청의 ‘컬러반응 중금속 탐지티슈’, 경찰청의 ‘중력트리거 릴리즈 후크시스템’, 해경청의 ‘광달거리 기반 다색 유도조명 시스템을 활용한 야간 해루질 안전 유도방안’이 금상(행안부장관상)을 수여받았다.
소방 분야에서도 우수한 아이디어들이 다수 선정됐다.
김병준 소방경(경기 용인소방서)은 ‘원터치 이지렌치’로 은상(지식재산처장상)을 수상했다. 이 아이디어는 호스 체결 시 발생하는 문제를 해결하여 현장에서 빠르고 효율적으로 방수 작업을 시작할 수 있도록 돕는다.
이승호 소방위(중앙119구조본부)는 ‘119구조견 음성송출 시스템’으로 은상(소방청장상)을 수상했다. 이 시스템은 구조견이 발견한 구조대상자에게 사람의 음성으로 구호 메시지를 전달하여, 구조작업의 안전성과 효율성을 향상시킨다.
또한, 박상용 소방위(대구 북부소방서)의 ‘1인 사용을 위한 옥내소화전 개선장치’, 이승석 소방위(서울 관악소방서)의 ‘무인 유리창 파괴 수압배연장치’, 장일구 소방장(서울 동대문소방서)의 ‘배터리 충전 보관을 위한 가스안전배출장치’가 각각 동상(국립소방연구원장상·한국발명진흥회장상)을 수상했다.
김승룡 소방청장 직무대행은 “국민의 안전과 맞닿아 있는 여러분들의 가치 있는 노력은 반드시 인정받아야 하며, 발굴된 아이디어들이 실질적인 안전 개선에 기여할 수 있도록 정책과 제도의 연계성을 마련하는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
